Unless you are a fat adapted athlete @loves netball! There's a couple of studies that suggest that athletes who are fat adapted i.e they have eaten low carbohydrate diets and gone into nutritional ketosis for extended periods of time have increased rates of lipid metabolism and mitochondrial density that offsets the slower reaction rate.

I am absolutely amazed at how much you know about how the body works @Ben-RO. I'm sure you just confused everyone else. Stuff the low carb diet - not going to be any good in team sports then

Yep definitely like this thread less after re-reading it. I wish the nightmares and thoughts surrounding everything about RO would stop; all this lecturing via email is just making me feel worse.
I want to be in control of my life not someone else tell how to control it!!
