A story - one sentence at a time

Let's try something creative.

Together we're going to make up a story but with one important rule:

YOU CAN ONLY CONTRIBUTE ONE SENTENCE!

You can add another sentence but only after someone else has added one. No consecutive sentences!

I'll get us started:

Once upon a time, in Sydney's Hyde Park, there was a little bee called Eric.

Eric moved around a lot as his flower homes would run out of food often.

In fact every garden and park had at least one bee.

This had become a real problem and so Eric decided something needed to be done.

So he called a meeting of all the bees in the city.

Everyone was quite a-flutter about the meeting, with rumours buzzing throughout the swarm.

Some extra flowers had been brought from out of town specially for the meeting to serve as refreshments.
