@redhead just a thought but could you set yourself a task of a 20 minute drawing? Draw something outside perhaps? I am wondering if you engage yourself for twenty minutes if it will help.. Then you can show us the picture

I'm really sorry that you're feeling this way @redhead and that these memories and flashbacks are so strong tonight. Big hugs. How would you feel about doing a safe space visualisation? I'll do one with you if you like.
