An image of yourself that defines acceptance. No matter what other influences shape your opinion a healthy body image is not obsessing or striving to be the unrealistic "perfect", it's being satisfied and comfortable in your own skin.

It's a different thing for everyone i think. Perhaps there's no one definition of healthy body image? But perhaps it's just not being to hard on yourself, not putting to much value in how you look, loving how you look a bit too? Hmmm there's so many answers to this one!

For me it's just about accepting who i am and the body i am in rather than comparing too much Smiley Tongue

Hey everyone! Sorry I haven't been around much lately- I caught a bug off someone at work and I've been spending the past week sick as a dog Smiley Sad.

I think it is a balance between being okay with your body and as @Alison5 said not being obsessed with perfection but also having a desire to want to eat healthy and exercise to a level that suits you (but also to indulge when you want to). I think appreciating other people's bodies rather than feeling jealous is also a large component of positive body image
