Re: Following through on our resolutions

What are some new years resolutions you have made in the past?

Mine are pretty much always the same tbh!
  • Read a specified number of books
  • Exercise
  • Meditate
  • Be more positive
  • Only buy clothes that I really really love
  • Keep my space clear and get rid of/let go of items that don't make me happy or serve a purpose

Re: Following through on our resolutions

So mine have mostly been things like:

- eat better

- get fitter

- get healthy

basically along those lines BUT i just realised that I have set goals recently and achieved them, like goals for the year. Do they count as resolutions if you didn't think of them that way till now?

I think they still count @Stealth_ninja

Time for the next question...

2. Have you ever successfully completed a new years resolution? What resolutions worked/didn't work? What was it or how did you make sure you did it?

I actually got fitter this year, finally figured out how to make myself do things that don't give me an instant reward Smiley Tongue

I don't normally have a resolution, but I told myself no tim tams, so I stopped buying them and just stuck to chocolate instead.

Seems like most of our goals directly relate to being healthier and happier!

Hey @Ben-RO exercise does give an instant reward, a satisfaction of doing exercise and improving mood. I think that's a reward

Is there a secret to that @Ben-RO or just strong willpower? Smiley Tongue
