Letting the negative self talk go
Yesterday I wrote a post saying how I struggle with saying a lot of negative things to myself and I got a lot of helpful suggestions.
Sometimes challenging my inner bully can be almost impossible, especially in the moment when i'm angry or upset at myself. But there is alternative, recognising that the inner bully is there and giving myself space to recognise it, accept and let it pass.

@Ben-RO suggested that I make a thread so that a few us can work on this together, I know that I find doing things with other people a lot easier.
Hopefully some of you want to work on this too and we'll use this thread to talk about how we're all going with it and post some updates!

I was thinking 16-22, 103, Daily Mindfulness Guide unless someone else has a specific one they want to do.
Alright well my phone battery isn't going to last much longer so I'm doing it now 🙂 Let me know if anyone ends up doing one 🙂

Haha @Ben-RO train too full for a window seat?
I felt like the only thing stopping me from falling asleep during that one was being in a chair rather than laying down 😛
There actually is a window seat in my seat row...thing. But I am waiting for the train to start going before I actually snake it as I booked really late and the trains pretty full, maybe i should just grab it and plead ignorance if someone'show up and takes it 😛
I think nearly falling asleep is a pretty good sign that you're relaxed @Bay52VU! Personally i think that it's okay to fall asleep in a meditation, even if that's not actually being mindful, if you fall asleep, you still taught your brain a little bit more about relaxing and not letting random thoughts run the show.
I'll be a little late for this one because i've got to head home first! I'll be on around 5:45 if anyone else is able to go then! Otherwise I'll have a crack at it as soon as i am able to!

sorry havent been active. im gonna sit out tonight, im in a very pessamistic mood and have not been doing well. ill hopefully be ablle to join in soon, most likly wednesday.

Welp, that was weird. And kind of not really a meditation. Perhaps we should screen our meditations more carefully 😛
Still, i i got to eat a strawberry and it was pretty good. And thought about where it came from and it was actually hard to think back through all the steps that it had taken to get to my mouth! Also i kept staring at it and thinking about how each of it's tiny little seeds could become a whole strawberry plant and then i felt bad for eating it 😛
