Re: Finding happiness/ having more postive or joyful days

@Tay100 Thanks so much for those suggestions, I think for me that could be like taking time for myself to go off the computer between classes when I go back to uni. I think I could also make it more realistic by been like I have all of these options and just picking one thing to slot into that 1hr scheduled just for me to do what I ever want. I would just have to make sure it's not something university-related.

@A_Friend  yes exactly, it sounds like keeping that hour not uni-related is key for you. It could be reading a book, or socialising- something not on a screen, as you say. If I can ask, are you on campus or doing online learning? If you are on campus, you could check out events if your uni has any, or if you are at home, do some cooking?

I'm so sorry that your boyfriend broke up with you @A_Friend. Smiley Sad That must be devastating. It's always sad when you lose someone who has been there for you.
I think it's normal to go through a period of sadness when something like this happens. I just wanted to let you know that it's okay to feel emotions that might seem 'negative'. It has really helped me to acknowledge my bad feelings rather than chastising myself for feeling them. I agree with @TOM-RO's advice.
I'm glad that you're getting back into your hobbies! Have you got any feel-good activities that you can do for yourself that don't take up a lot of time, or ones that you can do that don't require a lot of effort? I try to focus on them when I feel as though I have a lot on my plate.

It was really devasting. Thanks for the advice, your right suppressing emotions is never helpful. Feel good activities for me that don't take a lot of effort are just watching something makes me laugh or feel better about myself
