New Years Resolutions!



So the count down to the new year is on and I bet there are a lot of people starting to think about their resolutions / goals for the new year! I'm definitely one of those people who has some big amazing resolution and then prompty forgets about it, aha. I've decided that 2015 is going to be different and instead of aiming for some big, life-changing resolution like never eating chocolate again (because let's face it, that was never, ever, eveeeer going to happen), I'm going to make some smaller ones that are a lot more achievable and enjoyable  (like eating more chocolate!)  If you're not sure where to start, there's a fact sheet about resolutions over here


My two resolutions / new year goals so far are:

  1. Travel somewhere overseas!
  2. Be more adventurous with food!


I'd love if you guys would share your new years resolutions with me, or even brainstorm some here. I definitely need some motivation and inspiration!

There's only a few weeks left til the countdown begins for 2015! Smiley Very Happy


My two resolutions / new year goals so far are:

  1. To something at least once a month, just for myself (i.e. go to the beach, sit in a library, etc.) - Throughout the year, self-care has pretty much been chucked out the window Smiley Indifferent But this seems to be a pretty good idea: 



2. To eat more healthily Smiley Embarassed

My current NY resolutions is to


  • gym 4-5 times a week
  • read for an hour everyday
  • meditate for an hour everyday


That will do for now Smiley Very Happy hehe

Hmm 2014 was a good year for me but I hope 2015 will be even better..

1. Lose 5-7 kgs
2. Exercise 300 minutes a week
3. Start uni and make some friends
4. Get a new and better job
5. Look at moving out (if I can manage)

Achievable goals, I like it Smiley Happy

I'd like the following:

1. Read more!
2. Get a new car
3. Pass all my uni subjects
4. Get a stable time management to allow me to gym and sleep more!

Here are two I'd like to think more about next year:


1. Take more time out for my own self-care (especially getting enough sleep!!)

2. Learn something new each month: a skill, topic, theory - something that catches my interest and keeps me from obsessing too much about my studies

My New Year's Resolution is to learn skills I would need in the zombie apocalypse. So basically, we're looking at:

  • Improving my fitness. So I can run from the zombies.
  • Learn how to read a map and find my way without a compass.
  • Learn some first aid.
  • Learn how to start a fire with anything.
  • Learn about bush tucker.

So, in other words, mostly camping skills Smiley Very Happy

Once a day or once a week for self care! You deserve to take time for yourself more than once a month. Smiley Happy
