Re: Today I practiced self care by...
Loving all of the self-compassion in this thread! @oyster it's great that you were able to realise that trying to force yourself to do work when you were so tired and unmotivated would end up being counterproductive, it's so easy for us to try and keep pushing and pushing ourselves, and SO important to know when it's time to give ourselves a break. @ej88 switching off from the outside world is definitely very necessary sometimes and sounds like a very kind way to treat yourself
Today for self care I am planning on having leftovers for dinner, a bath, and an early night!

Re: Today I practiced self care by...
Today I practiced self care by reading and drinking a warm cup of tea to destress. Right now I am reading Thinking Fast and Slow by Daniel Kahneman and I am really enjoying it. I also took a nap afterwards

Re: Today I practiced self care by...
Today I practiced self care by sleeping in an extra 15 minutes before getting up for work. Haven't had the best sleep the last few days and wanted to give myself a few more minutes of comfort before a big day of work!
Love this idea for a thread as everyone's self care is different and if you're ever slumped for how to give yourself that extra TLC, you can come here and get some tips!

@Addie_DCLXVI I love that you are returning to an old instrument!
Today I did self-care by wrangling my body clock/sleep cycle back in order, laying the foundation for more self-care!
