Re: reconciliation week

@j95 completely understand, no pressure just do what you're able to!

You still have 2 weeks before reconciliation week begins, so perhaps when you have time this week, you could just jot down some names of inspiring indigenous people, and do some research on the weekend.

Just an idea, do whatever works for you!

Re: reconciliation week

Oh yeah good idea I thought it was next week so I have more time than I
thought.

Some people I had in mind were Eddie Mabo, Adam Goodes, and a few more I’m
still deciding on.

Also kind of irrelevant but also thinking about going to the Drop in thing
tomorrow @gina-RO

Re: reconciliation week

That's a great start!
You could mix it up - some days post about a person, and other days post about a movie or song or something similar that you like. (related to indigenous culture or history) - I can think of a few!

Re: reconciliation week

Great idea @gina-RO what are yours?

Re: reconciliation week

I was thinking of the film (mentioned before in this thread) Brand Nue Dae , as well as the very sad and poignant film Samson and Delilah,

Also the Sapphires was a good one!

Would be cool to link songs from indigenous music artists too!
