Helpful And Unhelpful Thoughts

Hey Guys!

I was really debating starting this but I feel like it is important.

I have been learning unhelpful and helpful thoughts and I thought I should share. 

 

An example of this is 

Unhelpful: Im going to fail my test and my teacher is going to get mad 

Helpful: Even though I might not have gotten the best grade but I know that I tried my hardest and my teacher is bot going to be mad because she knew that I tried my best. 

 

So its basically flipping the thought so its positive. 

 

I want this thread to be here for people share some unhelpful thoughts and then change them into helpful thoughts. We are all here if you need!

I like this thread @less123321! It reminds me of this article I read on The Mighty about turning the negative lies that anxiety leaves in your head into positives. 

I'm in the process of retraining my thoughts too as that's something that affects my anxiety on a day to day basis Smiley Happy
