OCD
Along with my Intrusive Thoughts I have to do multiple tasks multiple times before I am satisfied and happy e.g. wash my hands multiple times before I’m satisfied they are clean. And I have to do tasks a certain way before I am satisfied and happy e.g. when I get my books for my next class at school they have to be in size order, largest at the back and smallest at the front.
And when I watch the TV the volume has to be an equal number and when I measure or weigh two things they have to be equal and symmetrical have no imperfections and I have to check things multiple times before I am satisfied and happy
I think I do have some form of Obsessive Compulsive Disorder because along with my thoughts which are bad enough I also have to do multiple tasks multiple times before I am satisfied and happy and I also have to do things a certain way before I am satisfied and happy and everything I do and see has to be equal and symmetrical and have no imperfections and I also have to check things multiple times before I am satisfied and happy
Do I have OCD?
Thanks
Jono

Re: OCD
Hi @JonoG,
Thank you for sharing with us what has been happening for you. It's sounds like you have a lot of insight and understanding about what is going on and it's great that you have shown the courage to talk about it. We don't provide diagnoses here but it sounds like this might be something worth raising with a doctor or mental health professional who can give some more information.
Do you have a GP, psychiatrist or counselor that you see? Is this something you feel you can talk to them about?

Re: OCD
Hey there @JonoG has your counsellor been able to link you in with a Psych who could potentially assist you in understanding if there is a diagnosis? I can definitely understand your wanting to know based on the symptoms you are experiencing day to day. It sounds like your supports are stellar. As with all diagnosis they require a specialised professional, I believe the first port of call would be your GP who could get the ball moving
