Hey @Bananatime04 I just saw that @scared01 had shared this link on another thread and I thought you might also find it helpful How to Challenge Negative Thoughts
And for distractions I found:
- 1000001 COPING STRATEGIES & DISTRACTIONS
- Today I practiced self-care by... can give you awesome ideas to try
- Making music playlists, journaling, colouring in, drawing mandalas, listening to a guided meditation (try out the insight timer app), tidying up, rearranging your closet or room, yoga or exercise.
- @litgym created an awesome post on mental health apps here
- There was also a suggestion by @JanaG on a thread about making activity cards for yourself - so list all the different types of self-care things you could do - then pick a card and give it a go. They also linked the following articles: Self-soothing Sensory kit, DBT Self-soothing strategies.
AND I found this NewAccess Coach at Beyond Blue who is specially trained and helps you in setting practical goals that will get you back on track. I actually haven't seen this before so I'd be interested to see if anyone else has tried it? Or if anyone else has some good distraction techniques: @lokifish @Bee @scared01 @mrmusic @hellofriend @missep

Haha yes he has 8 teeth. 4 top and 4 bottom.
