Re: seeing a psychiatrist?
In the meantime, have you thought of accessing online services like Lifeline, eHeadspace or Kids Helpline? They can provide webchat services or counselling sessions over the phone

Re: seeing a psychiatrist?
@lemurien It is so great to hear that the process has been flowing really nicely for you and that your experience with headspace has been nothing but positive! I know it can sometimes be quite confronting when you first get in contact with these services, but they are trained and specialised to make the journey for you a little less difficult!
I love that you're interested in Art therapy, it is an incredible experience and completely grounding. You don't even have to be good at it haha!
I am really glad you have received the support you need from here and outside of the forums. It is important to know that the forums are always available for support, small or big, so don't be shy, as we would love to hear about your journey along the way

Re: seeing a psychiatrist?
Hey @lemurien , sorry I'm just seeing your post now.
I've only ever had 1 Psychiatrist who I'm still seeing and have since 2019. Mine's on a Telehealth company so it's on Medicare, through some sort of plan similar to a MHCP I believe, so I don't pay anything. My Psychiatrist is lovely.
I hope if you decide you wanted to see one, you find one who you like. Best of luck.
