Re: [CHAT] Love your own company

It is quite literally a daily struggle for me @EloiseRose  Smiley Tongue

Re: [CHAT] Love your own company

@delicatedreamer  you see I already feel like we are writing about being alone in a negative manner.  It's such an ingrained notion!

Re: [CHAT] Love your own company

Haha great answer @ confetti rain!

Hadn't thought of that! And welcome Smiley Happy

Re: [CHAT] Love your own company

Great @j95 !!

Welcome welcome. and yay for footy training here is what we have been through

  1. Why are some people against spending time by themselves?
  2. So what are some ways we can keep our time alone ('me-time') positive and constructive?
  3. In what situations do people most often find themselves on their own?

Re: [CHAT] Love your own company

That night one is a huge one @Maddi_1995

Even if you're in bed with someone else, you're all on your own when you're trying to get to sleep.

Re: [CHAT] Love your own company

Hey @j95  Smiley Happy

How was footy?

Re: [CHAT] Love your own company

wooo @j95  ! Welcome big fella, how was training?

Re: [CHAT] Love your own company

In what situations do people most often find themselves on their own?

-often I hear about people at uni feeling like they're on their own. It's stiuations like these when you have individual responsibilities that you have to be more independent.

-times when everyone around us seems too busy

Re: [CHAT] Love your own company

@Maddi_1995

it seems like other people have that feeling as well... even when you are in a crowd of people you still feel lonely!

I know that happens to me but if i think about it too much i get into a panic :/  so i try and not focus on it! or i let whoever im with know we might need to make an escape for air

Re: [CHAT] Love your own company

I definitely agree @Student94

Even if I have people all around me at uni, I often feel lonely. It can be both good and bad
