Re: [CHAT] Superheroes

I'll take a quick read and fire off some answers..ready set go!

Re: [CHAT] Superheroes

Hey @RevzZ welcome!!

Re: [CHAT] Superheroes

I feel like Batman is very loyal as well so I guess there is a pattern in this small sample, I reckon a lot of others have these traits as well.

I guess it's good that characters seen on TV and in movies represent positive traits Smiley Happy

Re: [CHAT] Superheroes

@FootyFan26 I agree! Plus it would probably be useful for a superhero to be loyal and reliable, otherwise nobody would ever trust them to save anything

Re: [CHAT] Superheroes

1. Do you have a favourite superhero?

The Flash

2. What are some characteristics of your favourite superhero? Do you have any in common with them?

Brave, quick-thinking, loyalty, being really reeeaaaalllllyyyy fast, strong sense of justice, a set mindset which makes it impossible to talk him out of it once his mind is set. Plus being really silly at times

3. Which characteristic would you want most from your superhero? How do you think it would help you?

Being able to have a set mindset, though perhaps not to the same degree. Change is nice after all though I reckon not changing my mind whenever there's so much as a breeze would be absolutely great. I'm certainly a bit indecisive (and quite oftenly so) which means it would be extremely helpful to have this.

4. Have you ever used the characteristics you admire  in your favourite superhero to support others?  If not, how could you use them to support someone?

Well...being silly to cheer someone else up counts, right? I think bravery is a really important factor when supporting someone else. If you don't take that first step into the unknown, what if no one does? I'd also sometimes think "What would blah blah do?" and give it a try to see if it works. If it does, I do it more often until it just becomes something I do, rather than them.

Re: [CHAT] Superheroes

@safari93 It's also nice when they show the weaknesses of superheroes most of all, so that we can connect with them better rather than them feeling like perfect unreachable beings.

Re: [CHAT] Superheroes

Wow well done @RevzZ! I think the being silly thing is helpful sometimes! I also like how you pointed out the bravery aspect - it is really hard sometimes to support someone going through a tough time, especially when you're not sure about what to say, but just making that effort to say something at least can be a huge thing for the person receiving it

Re: [CHAT] Superheroes

On to the next one:

Is there someone in your life who is like a superhero to you?

Re: [CHAT] Superheroes

Is there someone in your life who is like a superhero to you?

At first the answer was not really but after discussing these things I'd say yes.  There are a couple of people who have tried their best to help me and been very persistent with that as well which I'm grateful for.

Re: [CHAT] Superheroes

Yep, @safari93, even more so when you're having a tough time simultaneously.

Is there someone in your life who is like a superhero to you?
A friend actually. I have no idea how she gets through so much in a single day and every day, she's busy to the max. I've personally called her Wonder Woman at times because of it haha XD
