True...I mean you can get stuck in what you visualise in your head sometimes!  But hey, sometimes a little direction is exactly what we need.  Creativity can involve lots of inspirational searching for an idea to manifest.

My entire life can be described in one sentence: It didn't go as planned and that's okay. ツ

Re: Everyone is creative, right?

Do you think that there might be conventional ways to be creative and then there might be more obscure ways? What's an example of each? (what about instagram, journalling or fashion - where do these things fit? Are they creative?)

i completetly think that there are conventional ways to be creative which have be expressed tonight i reckon... the idea of art, music, dance, design all of that cool stuff.

Obscure ways... welll my parking abilities are pretty special and the way i clean and tidy apparently is creative because i try and hide things haha!! i think problem solving is creative but in the obscure category

Re: Everyone is creative, right?

@_sagira_ you sound so wise!

I think that these things can all be super creative, but also the majority are just copies or originals.. sorry to be the critic!

Well if you go back in time and look at he greats like Van Gogh, Michelangelo, Monet etc...through time there has always been a distinct 'style' of art in each of those eras, the technique and precision in those works is phenomenal.  Also things like instagram make 'anyone' a photographer ( i mean I love instagram and use it a lot!!!), but it's nice in that it allows many people who might not necessarily share their happy snaps.  Things like fashion etc...it kind of brings people together.  I blog a lot and that's a form of writing and sharing my thoughts etc with other people.  Hmmm...interesting question.

Re: Everyone is creative, right?

Ok so... does sport count as being creative? It could, somehow. If it does then yes I may be creative as I'm good at football and do a lot of sport.

I make music too....

Smiley Very Happy Do you think that there might be conventional ways to be creative and then there might be more obscure ways? What's an example of each? (what about instagram, journalling or fashion - where do these things fit? Are they creative?)

Not really no... I believe that all creativeness is conventional in its own right; Creativeness is good for the brain, it is an outlet of emotion (poetry is my outlet).

Fashion is a prime example of creativeness (whether we question what they were thinking or not) and it is absolutely everywhere which is great. Another is scrapbooking and I would say instagram fits in similar to scrapbooking.
