Re: Schools OUT & Schoolies is IN

that's a really common attitude isn't it ?

"it won't happen to me"

it's like when you least expect things happen - they happen

planning ahead is so important it shouldn't ever be overlooked when planning holidays and partying

great tips !

Re: Schools OUT & Schoolies is IN

OMG so many things that could go wrong !

Let's hope they don't happen but if they were to happen ...

Are you aware of what to do or where you can go in the case of an emergency?

Call 000 - Ambos or Police... depending on the situation.

Don't leave the person in trouble if it is safe to do so.

Go to the hospital, police station, red frogs, anyone of authority or that could help (security, etc)

I think It may even be helpful to know basic first aid before you go to such events? idk.

Re: Schools OUT & Schoolies is IN

Great Ideas on where to go in the case of an emergency!!

I guess the other suggestion I would have is call your parents, guardians or someone that cares about you so they know what is going on. Or if it involves a friend it may be an idea to call on their behalf. Too often we worry that we will get in trouble or make someone angry - but at the end of the day people would want to know what is happening. Better that than them hearing it over the news...
