P.s if either of you guys want to ask another different question then go for it!

Re: Time for Tinder or Something More Tender?

Ok heres another!

Are casual things like friends with benefits or hookups a type of relationship?

Re: Time for Tinder or Something More Tender?

@j95 yeah I don't think you want to micro-manage and constantly check-in because that might seem a bit odd.  It seems like you can tell where its headed based on behaviour, and I don't know what your experience is, but I've found that if you don't really like someone and they start becoming closer, it makes you really uncomfortable and it's really obvious that it's not for you.

Yeah I think they are, they may be of a less serious form than a long term relationship but they're still a type of relationship, you are still sharing a part of yourself with somebody else and being connected with them even if its not a real strong emotional connection.

Re: Time for Tinder or Something More Tender?

Yes definitely! Everyone you interact with you have some sort of relationship with, friends with benefits and hookups are just more casual than romantic relationships, they both need to have both parties to have the same expectations for it to work as is the same for any relationship.

Re: Time for Tinder or Something More Tender?

That's spot on @j95! My thoughts exactly

I wonder if everyone thinks like that?

Re: Time for Tinder or Something More Tender?

Hey @joy101! Great answer, and i think we agree with your points, although i think I am also hearing from @j95 and @tsnyder that it's okay to take a little time to share your expectations with eachother. What do you think? How soon should you share?
