[CHAT] Books!!! *cheering*
This week's chat is going to be all about books, so let's go read...
Whether you like reading fiction, non-fiction, fan-fiction, dictionaries, picture books or the dreaded textbooks, this chat is for you!
So join us Monday 23rd April at 7:30pm AEST for a chat all about books!

First question * drumroll!*
What is your favourite style/genre of books?
Hey everyone,
SO for some reason I lost my post here... so I shall start again!
My favourite style of books right now are colouring books! (Did you guess that one!?)
& I'm totally loving the work from Hana Karlzon & Maria Trolle 😄
Here are some colourings from last year, please excuse the scanning bits at the top 😛

I like a mix, which is probably why I have so many! I like these artists because there's a mix of little detail and large spaces... And sometimes the details are just shaded one colour with me LOL!
haha those tiny little gaps! @N1ghtW1ng i prefer slightly larger pictures too
45 and 47 Stella Street by Elizabeth Honey is the greatest book of all time. There's no competition. It's the most incredible, fabulous, magnificent work of literature in all of history.
It's Not All About You, Calma, by Barry Jonsberg is also super good, as is the Artemis Fowl series by Eoin Colfer 😄
Night guys 🙂
@Nightruner23 Discworld from Terry Pratchett, the Phantom Stallion series, all of Rick Roirdians myth series, and MORE! (I'm feeling lazy :P) There's always so many to choose from!
Time for the next question! 😄
What is your favourite book-to-movie movie? (or your least favourite? because we all know they aren't the greatest)
Ohhh I've read/seen a few and the only two I can think of right now are Marey & Me and The Fault in Our Stars. Both of which the Book was so much better! (oh now I miss reading!) I laughed and cried MORE in the book or Marley & Me than I did in the movie, and I cried more in the book of The Fault in our Stars than the movie...
Terry Pratchett's books have some great quotes, definitely worth the google if you're interested 🙂
book- to-movie? hmm actually i think the hunger games have to be the best atm. i actually like the movies better!
thats everyone for the chat. i need to head off, rough night plus long day = early night 🙂
goodnight everyone @ErinsAntics@roseisnotaplant@Bee@Nightruner23@N1ghtW1ng
That's a nice quote @N1ghtW1ng 🙂
I don't remember any quotes to share lol!
Have a good night @scared01
@Nightruner23 my friends have recommended berserk to me. The art is amazingly intense and visceral. I commend anyone who can draw such graphic and scenes full of so much activity! I havent read it yet, just checked out some of the pics :3
