[CHAT] New Years Resolutions
Hey folks!
Sorry the GR post has come up late, a lot of us have been still stuck in holiday mode at the moment and planning has gone a little awry with less people. Nevertheless, here's the first one of the year!
Since there is a few people around and things haven't been drafted up yet, instead of questions, we can just use this space to have a casual chat about any new year's resolutions and basically your goals for 2018.
So, let's get this started with the one and only question: What's your new years resolution? 🙂

Also I forgot, I want to try to learn more Turkish and possibly find a job.

Look at you @FootyFan26. You've got awesome goals for this year! Learning languages is tough so I commend you on that 🙂 Is there any reason you want to learn more?
What areas in jobs are you looking for @Bee? Anything in particular you're looking for right now? Long-term, short-term, contracts?

@FootyFan26 try again when the Nutells is all gone? 😛
@RevzZ I'm looking for admin or financial type work, I have the skills and qualifications to do admin, but it's sooo hard out where I am, and in general it's difficult. I'm working towards gaining more skills to eventually do work with finances in the business, so I'm wanting to manage all the accounts - paying bills, chasing up people who owe the business etc. That's what I really want to do, but I have to work up to it, because a lot of business out here won't just put you in that position unless they know you pretty well as an employee or have had lots of experience...
I'm hoping ideally for permanent part-time, but I'll take what I can get 🙂 I'm open to casual and short-term contracts too 🙂

@RevzZ because half of my family is Turkish but I don't get to see them often so I haven't really felt the need for it but I got to see them the other day and when they spoke it I couldn't understand but they were also pretty happy that I knew some words so I think they would like it.

Anybody been to Queenstown NZ? Best burgers, tops all of the ones here by a long shot.
Had to get it at 4am though cause it was so busy during regular normal people eating burger hours
