[CHAT] Talking about Dating
Whether you're struggling to find someone who has a different level of commitment or struggling to find someone who you just click with we know the process of dating can be tiresome sometimes.
Because we all wish we were like Jake here...
Come join us at 7:30pm on Monday, June 4th for a chat about all things Dating!
Where do I start?! I'm a Christian so firstly they must share those beliefs, which is at the top of my list. I also want to have some sort of history with them whether that be friends first or acquaintances or we have the same friends I just don't want to date a complete stranger!
I also have a sister with down syndrome so they must have some understanding in that area as there is a possibility that my sister may end up living with me at some point in the future. I have a cat too so they must be able to tolerate him and I'm not going to be one of those people who get's rid of their animals for a relationship.
What's something you look for in a potential relationship? Do you want to be friend's with them first? Must they like cats? Have the same beliefs/religion as you?
I look for honesty and commitment. I would rather have someone who is honest with me about their feelings and who is committed to the relationship.
Of course, they must like cats! Or any pets really. I'm an animal person and like pets, so would want to have pets, so they must be okay with that 🙂
Beliefs/religion doesn't really phase me, my family has married into different religions on both my mums and dads side, so it's something I'm kind of used to 🙂
I don’t know i guess to take things at my speed kind of thing . A person to respect me aswell is really important
