Fun projects you are working on?
Hi! I want to start this thread for people to share what things they are working on, whether it is a creative hobby or something else, and we can hype each other up and support each other 😊 It doesn't have to be big or important, it could be a small craft project you're starting, recipes that you're excited to try out, or a pitch that you've been working on!
I'll start: I've been working on an art piece for a community zine that combines some of my interests and I'm really excited to share the piece later as I'm also proud that I've experimented with some elements in the piece and it's turning out pretty well. The waiting is frustrating :')

ive just ordered 3 more tubes of pony beads.
I'm thinking of making some chokers, belt chains and other accessories,
currently working on a choker right now, when its done I'll try to take a pic for the reach out forums!

Thanks for the post! I love seeing what others are creating/ working on too! Currently, I'm attempting to make a felted doll. So I'm experimenting with a very basic wire armature and felting wool around it. I've broken three needles so far 😅 but the doll is taking shape!! I'm so excited for the result!! 😆
It's also great to hear that you are combining multiple interests into one art piece! It's so cool to find how one area of interest/ hobby can bridge with another!

Creating a felted doll sounds like so much fun! I do have to wonder how did you break three needles though haha 😂 Seems like it's going well for you though so good luck!
Oh yeah been so busy that I forgot to post the piece I finished here :') Here ya go (the interests are Ace Attorney and classical musicians fyi)

The chromatic aberration really gives it some movement! 🙌 Reminds me a lot of the two Spiderverse movies (have you watched them? 🍿)
P.S. I broke the needles by accidentally stabbing them into the aluminum armature. 😅
I am working on concentrating my focus into short spans of time! It isn't very fun, but I have a maths comp coming up! And I want to be able to wake up when I need to! (I have hypersomnia) Hopefully we can win!

Good luck! It's great that you're putting in effort to improve your sleep well-being! And don't be too hard on yourself when you fail to wake up when you need to sometimes! Just accept and continue that improvement journey without guilt!
How's your maths comp going by the way 🙂
A friend of mine is having a house warming party soon so I've been knitting some coasters as a gift. My long term project though is a sweater, which is the most complicated knitting project I've started because of all the new stitches I have to learn. I'm pretty proud of myself though as I've improved a lot in my knitting skills this year.
@waterlemon When will the community zine you are working on be finished? I'd love to have a look at it when it's complete if you're willing to share.

Absolutley love this thread and idea! Thanks so much for creating it 💜 I have started so many projects but always get excited by something new (so I have a lot of unfished projects I need to finish off 😅). Would love some ideas on what I can start next tho.

The feeling of starting a new thing while having a pile of unfinished ones behind you is super relatable :'). What type of stuff are you usually doing?
I've been working on the piece on and off for about a week or so? Can't do too much because of other life stuff but it's almost finished! Few finishing touches here and there then it'll be done 😁
