Luckily for me I live with two and that means that usually I can leave my room and hang out with them. But really, even just seeing a cute picture of a dog pop up on facebook adds to my happiness.
Like this morning I felt happy because I could hear my partner singing loudly in the shower. Lol
But overall I think it is more helpful to think of happiness as a feeling or emotion that comes and goes just as other emotions do, rather than as any sort of permanent thing or end goal because that isn't how it works unfortunately
