Oh this drug and alcohol counsellor said some great stuff - the "red flags" to notice when things are starting to become a health problem is when you have a big weekend... then another one, and then you move into having a stimulant on MOnday morning to help you to work....

 

So i t starts to afftect your everyday life

Oh and I love that she brought up that the recent "Ice" commercials do harm - create more stigma and stop people reaching out for help...

Yeah as soon as it becomes a disability then it really needs to be attended to.

 

That being said, it just takes that one bad drug - don't always know what you're going to get

It becomes a cycle and then you get stuck in. That's how I got stuck anyway. Using drugs to improve mood for one day - then eventually having to rely on them every day just to feel ok.

Yep they are just talking about that now too - Anna Wood who died in 1994 from taking MDMA...
