ugh attachment and boundaries do suck 😞 Something came up the other day with attachment stuff but I don't feel I can talk about it on here. just feeling blergh because of it 🤢 LOL attachment makes me nauseous apparently ahahahah wtf. (It wasn't anything bad- just someone I hadn't heard from in a while checked in on me). That's your lost story for today. It makes sense to worry they'll leave you, I don't think it's stupid! Sometimes I worry about that but also get irrationally worried they'll hurt me or just something bad will happen so put up too many boundaries- it makes sense for our brains to want to avoid the worst case scenarios right?

** Like if you like picture the part of yourself that's feeling worried about being abandoned as a- what's your favourite animal? lets say sloth for now but like it could be a cat or dog or whatever! -so like picture it's a little baby sloth saying and feeling all these painful things and give it a hug and comfort it... Don't pretend it's you, it's not you, it's a sloth that happens to be feeling bad (e.g. sad/abandoned/etc)! Literally just think about how you might want to take care of the sloth. Hopefully, you'll feel care for the sloth or other imagined animal and that's the feeling to hold on to! It can take a bit of practice but anyway it's up to you if you want to try it it helps me a little! **

I think I get the feeling of not believing the person 😞 Sometimes if people say nice stuff enough after me not trusting it I start to slightly believe it, like some sort of subliminal messaging lol (okay it's not really but idk what to call it- also subliminal messaging isn't real apparently lol)

Hmm physical.. how about a stuffed toy you can pretend is your mother figure? haha I'm not joking though, it could help?? I may or may not have bought a weighted stuffed toy that I can hug when I can't sleep... don't judge me!

Yeah.. they are getting a little lengthy, maybe because I keep rambling about myself 🤦‍♀️ I feel I'll sound insincere if I don't overshare some stuff that feels similar because otherwise it might sound detached?
