TW: My dad is passing away
@scared01and everyone else this might be a trigger Warning so I know you
I don't know how to word this but I will try my best to update you all on dad. A few days ago dad was having trouble breathing and walking and bent over really bad he went to the hospital at 31/11/18 or 1/12/18 later that night he was moved out on the ward he was in which was b which is renal failure staright into Inc ( Intensive care unit ) he has a breathing mask on to help him he was hooked up on the machine for his dysis. This is where the trigger Warning will happen so heads up!
We went in to see dad we were greated by a lot of doctors around some we're specialist and no one the doctors come to us and explain if we knew that was going on and what will happen. We did know what was going on.
The doctor explained what they are going to do with him 1 was they op on him to remove the blood clots in his legs but he won't live or they let nature take it's place. We had to take it hour by hour .They tried to remove the blood clots elaier at 2/12/18 but it went South so quickly later we had a call at 5:30 am to say that dad has a new problem which is bleeding from the backend it is part of the renal failure and the last stage before he pass for good and he is trashing about because it's part of the renal failure. The doctor said he has never seen someone go down so quickly like dad. He won't live for more two day's so today he could pass away 3/12/18 or 4/12/18 no later than tomorrow so yeah it's going to be hard to say goodbye to him I do love him so much but I wish I could tell him that but he is sedated so he is not aware of anything or people or family around him he is in a sleep and he looks pacefull when you see him I'm think I'm more glad he is not in pain anymore I will miss him so much I'm seeing him today so I'm going to very emotional. We are going to spread him in the country where he wanted to be spread I have many memories of my dad and me doing things after a while I might get a tattoo for my dad for inprisng me I will miss you dad 3/12/18 or 4/12/18 when he pass
Re: This a post
aww im really sorry to hear all of this. please please look after yourself and be with family during this time. getting a tatoo sounds like a good way to celebrate the life you had with him.
@nightrunner23 you can still talk to him and say what you want to say to him even if he is sedated. he might be asleep but its also for you as well. the one thing i regret is telling my nan how much i loved her before she passed even though she too was sedated.
Re: This a post
Big hugs @Nightruner23!
This is an incredibly difficult and scary time you're going through. Thank you for letting us know what's going on and please keep us updated on how you are going. I'm very glad to hear you have your family around and are thinking of ways to remember your dad and the huge role he obviously played in your life. It is so so sad to lose someone you love, know we are here for you

Re: TW: My dad is passing away
Hey @Nightruner23, my deepest condolences to you and your family during this difficult time.
(Just FYI, I moved this post into its own thread so that more users will be able to offer support.)
It is always really hard to lose someone you're so close to. One thing that has helped me when people who are close to me have passed away is that whilst they are no longer with us physically, their legacy and memories are something you can cherish and hold onto forever.
Sending you big big hugs right now, and know that we are always here for you.

Re: This a post
its so hard to grive and organise funerals and have to deal with unhelpful family members. i do hope it gets sorted soon that your dad can rest in peace and you and your family can start to grieve.
