Re: having a hard night

nope your not alone here @_daisy  theres heaps of people that 'get it' and offers some great advice Smiley Happy Heart

@DruidChild@mrmusicits mostly just my emotions running ragged again- the usual hopeless worthless stuff. feeling low sort of thing. stressing about bills and money and how the hell im suppose to pay for everything. ive just advertised a few paintings and im hoping they sell so i can pay for my head specialist appt on monday. ive just managed to scrape enough together for my psych appt on thursday. havent been there for nearly 2 and a half months. i went to the drs today and found out im severely allergic to basically all plants and weeds and dust Smiley Sad they thought i had asthma- it sort of is but its called allergy induced asthma meaning i dont actually have astma but my allergic reactions to pollen etc can bring on astmatic symptoms and can cause a similar attack. my house is full of all that stuff- my house is a bad dust collector and outside i have heaps of horse feed- again plants and dust. and its all in my car. i can usually manage it with antihistamines but id often wondered why sometimes when i was outside things could get really bad. i thought it mightve been because im unfit but i am fit- i walk, and ride exercise bikes and my second job is really physical. kinda hard not to be fit with all that stuff.

my hand still has week (maybe more) in this cast. ive got xrays on friday to see how the breaks are travelling and if its ok then i can start to do a few more things. atm ive got rather nerve damage and my hand is extremely sensitive so my physio exercise atm is to take the cast off for 2 minutes a day and rub it gently on a towel (in a stroking motion) to get my hand use to having abit of touch happening again.

Re: having a hard night

That sounds really stressful and overwhelming @scared01! I'm sorry to hear so much is going on physically as well as mentally right now, it sounds like you're doing your best to cope with it and stay positive though.

I think it's awesome that you're selling some art, you're very talented ^__^ I hope you make enough for your appointment.

Re: having a hard night

thanks @DruidChild i am trying my best to stay balanced. i cant really afford for me to 'loose it' right now. too many things going on that i need to be ok for.  my pop has just been harping on about a bill that i was suppose to pay but i havent because i couldnt afford it. frustrating.

Re: having a hard night

hey there @scared01, getting the trigger sometimes takes a while to figure out - let alone when you have the anxiety at the moment! What have you done in the past?

Re: having a hard night

Hey @scared01, sounds like you're feeling so frustrated right now, on top of being anxious! It seems like it must be really overwhelming.

How are you going with your coping strategies? Do you think they might be helpful at this time? Let us know how we can help you out Smiley Happy

Re: having a hard night

My anxiety has been extremely high the past few days and it hasnt eased at all no matter what i do. It just gets worse and when it gets worse i go into meltdown mode and i either  cry or i get angry and just loose it.

I have tried so many things and over and over again and nothing is helping at all.

Ive tried- contacting a helpline, using visualisation, movies, music, reading a book, chatting on here, being around the horses, being around family ( but they are a really big trigger atm) exercise, radical acceptance, thought challanging and journalling but its just not helping.

Its been so bad that its causing chest pain the past few days.

Re: having a hard night

@scared01 that sounds like it must have been exhausting, especially if it hasn't subsided at all for the past few days. Have you been able to talk to someone about it, or see a professional about how you've been feeling?

Also, are you feeling safe tonight?

Re: having a hard night

I spoke to a helpline twice and i just atart to go ok and then  only half hr later  max im back the same even though im trying thr things they suggest.

I cant see my psychiatrist  for another 4 weeks, my gp i see in 2 weeks and i dont have a psychologist currently @safari93

Re: having a hard night

if you need to just work on getting through 1/2 hour blocks at a time tonight @scared01 that's completely fine
