I'm so sorry your mum and your friends are treating you like that, you deserve better, and it must be so disheartening to have others putting you down like that. Exams are stressful, and it definitely doesn't help when people make unsupportive comments. It isn't pathetic at all for you to want your mum to acknowledge your efforts, she should be providing more support.
