I'm in high school, and my experience with student services workers (I guess they're like counsellors) is that everything is confidential unless you or someone else is in danger (self harm, suicidal thoughts). That's my situation, and they ring my parents. But even then, as far as I know, none of my teachers know the details. They know I have depression because I have told them. But everything I talk about to people at student services is very confidential.
Maybe you could just say you're not comfortable talking to her? You want to talk to someone else? Not give them many details?
