We can't know why they haven't reached out without talking to them or somehow reading their mind @MB95. Out of all the possibilities, I know that the staff here want to support you and really care about you. Given your psych has met you and worked with you over a longer period of time, I can only assume that your psychologist feels a similar way. They are there to help you in whatever way you need, not judge or criticise you.
I know what you mean about having good parents, however, that is a common misconception. They can be supportive and it can make a difference, but it doesn't mean that you won't struggle or feel a certain way. Have you shared parts of how you really feel with your parents before? What has their response been like? Also, do you mind explaining what you mean by "when I saw something on me".. I think I am a little lost with that bit.
