Being a shy person, it’s very brave of you to consider speaking to year advisor 😊

Your year advisor may be quite used to speaking to a variety of different students and may be very open to chatting with you even if you haven’t spoken before – she is there to help after all!

Do you know if any of your friends have spoken to her? It may give you a better idea of what to say or ask so you can feel a little more prepared. Another option may be to write down the questions you have and bring them with you so that you have something to refer to if you get nervous and forget what you were there to discuss 😊
