Hey @lemurien😊

I also definitely recommend joining an ADHD group when you feel ready to, I'm in one on Facebook and it makes such a difference being able to read other people going through the same thing and being able to ask for advice from people you know will 'get it'. I know in the group I'm in, there are people who haven't got an official diagnosis yet in there too, so don't feel like you can't join until that happens. I'm sure there will be lots of support to help you before you get to that point as well 😊

Those are some awesome things you can do to make things a bit easier for yourself. It can actually be really difficult to recognise what your needs are when you've been expected to do them a certain way your whole life. It definitely took me a while to really question and think about what aaactually works for me! So don't worry if it takes a while for you too. I'm the same with clothes - can't wear jeans ever! 🤢 I am all for finding clothes that actually feel good. I also live alone and honestly, best thing I ever did. Being able to rest and have quiet time to recharge, as well as not having to deal with the guilt or shame of my house being messy a lot of the time - life changing. Have you got any ideas on how you can help yourself when those thoughts of 'not trying hard enough' come up?
