Thank you for this post @Iona_RO, it's so relevant in this day and times. I had two strategies I used to help with my insecurities with my body.
1. I removed my social media apps from my home screen so I wouldn't be tempted to do the "doom scrolling"
2. I personalised my algorithm on apps like Tik Tok by liking videos promoted positive body image and anything toxic I would label not interested so now when I do use the app I can watch without being triggered.
Filters have also become super sophisticated and life like as well so I hope everyone remembers... the show Catfish exists for a reason (it was way ahead of its time 😏)
