I just wanted to check-in and see how you were doing. Firstly, I want to commend you for your attitude on earning your own money and getting things for yourself instead of relying on others. The fact that you can ask your parents but you choose not to - I think that's a really mature mindset to have. Having a sense of financial independence is really freeing and satisfying. But as you have mentioned, that requires getting a job and it can be really hard to juggle all other commitments.
If you don't mind me asking, what is at the top of your priority right now?
Also, just reading up on your other comments, don't feel pressured to get your license early just because everyone else has theirs. Personally speaking, my priorities was with education/uni, getting work experience, internships, etc and that took most of my time. I got by using public transport for everything and only got my license this year and I'm 22 😂.
