Hey @Genderthief, it’s really great to hear from you 😊 Thank you for reaching out and sharing a little bit about what has been going on for you recently.
I'm sorry to hear that you have been having so much trouble with anxiety recently. Anxiety on its own can be really hard to deal with, but having to manage other stressful situations on top of it, like ordering food and meeting new people, it can feel like A LOT! Do you mind me asking if you have been able to find any strategies that help you when you're feeling really overwhelmed, even just a little bit?
You mentioned that you overheard people not wanting to approach you, that sounds really horrible. Were you able to find out why they didn't want to approach you at all? I can only imagine how that would have made you feel.
I recently came across a few articles that have helped me when things get really hard and wondered if maybe they could help you too. If you would like to have a read, What is Anxiety and How to manage anxiety are both really helpful in identifying the different types as well as strategies to try. I also found an article on different supports as well, that might also be worth having a look at.
I am also mindful of the impact this must be having on you, so I am wondering if you have been able to share these thoughts with anyone before? I wonder if it might be helpful to talk to someone who can work with you to overcome some of this anxiety, like a GP or a Counsellor. If you would ever like to someone, a service like Kidshelpline can be really helpful in supporting you to identify the next steps forward and are available via both phone and webchat all day long.
I just want to remind you that you're not alone and we're all here for you 💜
