Thank you for sharing your thoughts with us. Supporting someone with anxiety can be confusing at times as everyone is different. I'm sorry to hear that your sister has not been in the best mental space, and I think it's wonderful that you are trying your best to be mindful of her experience and support her properly.
From my personal experience, people with anxiety do not want you to fix their problems necessarily unless they ask for advice. Most of the time I found that it's best to just listen and sit with them while they go through their thoughts and emotions. Re-affirm and acknowledge what it is they are saying and going through and give them reassurance. Trying to fix their problem sometimes might just make them feel more overwhelmed or not validated with how they are feeling.
Ultimately, it's best to ask her how she would feel the most supported, and move on from there.
