Hi @lemurien
Firstly, you are not alone in this day and age, I can definitely agree with you that the cost of living is absolutely ridiculous, from groceries to rent, even health care can be expensive! I am just as frustrated as you because I believe we shouldn't have to pay that much for the necessities we need to survive as humans, even buying a water bottle from a cafe will cost you at least $4 to $5 for just water which if you think about it water is natures natural source!
But I am really sorry to hear what you are currently feeling and experiencing, it must cause you a lot of pressure and uncertainty which is not pleasant at all.
Even though I am not a person with a disability, I can wholeheartedly feel what you are feeling, I live with my mum too and she always has this worry about having enough money to pay for everything which stresses me out but I can say that every time we have worried about money, somehow everything worked out perfectly fine!
Sometimes the best thing you can do is trust that everything will work out in the end as it is meant to be and focus on what you can control at the moment. Unfortunately, we cannot control the government or the cost of living but we can definitely try to do small things each day that will help us get through things in the present moment. Here are a few articles that might be useful to ease things for you and help you deal with what you are feeling
It is great to hear that you are able to work from home because that can give you more freedom to do small things throughout your day that will help your mental health and even refresh your mind which can help to minimise worrying and therefore find the best solution possible.
I hope the above helped you a bit and I would love to know how you are going, if you have tried anything or if something has helped you. Keep us updated as we are always here to support you, and remember you are not alone in this!
Sending you a big virtual hug, I look forward to hearing from you soon.
Take extra care of yourself and stay positive 😊
