Not sure if it counts as a traditional book per say, but I'm making my way through the Death note manga and it is incredible. I also love The Lone City series by Amy Ewing, specifically the first book The Jewel. It's just so interesting, about a group of women whose purpose is surrogacy and it just spirals on from there as secrets are uncovered.
