Hi Redmars,
I am a 22 year old female and I have been through a few relationships in my life until this point. I know that almost everyone suffers through this quite inevitable pain in life, but relationships only shape us into the people we are meant to become. All of the joys and memories you have with a partner that you miss, only help you to cherish the next person who walks into you life even more. If someone loves you and is meant for you, I believe the world always has a way of bringing them back into your life and a person who deserves you will never put themselves in a position to lose you.
Every time I have experienced a painful breakup, it has taken time to heal, but i am always shown that there is someone new and possibly even better waiting around the corner. I feel that accepting the fact that there is so much more time on this earth for you to experience beauty should help you settle and feel more at ease that better things will be coming. Its also okay to be sad, you are on this earth to experience the vast range of human emotions that your existence has to offer and that is the beauty of life. We all feel a bit lost sometimes, and thats okay too because in that journey, you will then learn more about who you are.
Being your first relationship, you are probably only just learning what you like in a person, what you want in a person and the range of emotions you are capable of feeling for someone. Im sure that once you take some time to love yourself while being alone for a little while, someone new will walk into your life and surprise you once again and show you that there are endless possibilties to who you will meet and what you can feel.
Letting go is never easy for anyone. I think the fact that it hurts is important, because the pain shows you that things really matter to you. You will be okay and you will meet someone who makes you feel loved again. I truly do wish you the best and I cannot wait for you to meet a person that shows you they are there no matter the circumstances ❤️
