OMG! I finished p+p a few weeks ago, and I can't get it out of my head! I love the tense romance and the historical setting. My recommendation would be Lucinda Reily's 'Seven Sisters' series. It's a fabulous contemporary (so easy language) historical fiction series, written in a truly transportive way, with luscious romance to go with it. It's about a group of adopted sisters who all go finding their heritage, and discovering the stories of their amazing female ancestors. Would recommend to any Austen fan!
