@Tiny_leaf Thank you for sharing how exhausted you are feeling at the moment, it is very relatable, raw and honest. I believe that no one is "bad" at self-care, maybe you just haven't found something that really feels right for you. From experience, trial and error with different techniques/activities that I've been given have helped me find and develop a little toolbox of self-care. For exhaustion I find that having a hot bath with Epsom salts or any other nice smelly salts is VERY relaxing, lighting a candle and watching Netflix or reading a book is so so relaxing.

Hello everyone! For me, it is coming to the afternoon of a Sunday. Reflecting back over my past weekend, I want to share how grateful I am for being able to be busy with fun activities and things to do over a weekend. Saturday I had my last netball game of the season and today I went out to the bay and stood in the FREEZING cold water for recovery and then a nice walk along the beach with my partner, we then had brunch out and have come home and fixed my bike so that next weekend we can go bike riding. How lucky am I? Such wonderful, heart-filling experiences. However, some people weekends may be a long, uneventful time. Overwhelmed by different emotions and unable to get out of the house and experience fun and joy of sharing time with others. I was very keen to hear if anyone else has some exciting, fun, enjoyable activities or things to do over the weekend? Let's share how we enjoy our weekends! Here are some starters from me: -Social sport -Drawing/Art -Gardening -Gym -Bake a cake -Walk in the sunshine Can't wait to hear more ideas!

Sounds like you were feeling very stressed from morning until late afternoon, but you were able to identify this overwhelm. Very jealous you have access to the coast to be able to go for a nice walk ,how relaxing! Netflix is also a great way to switch off your brain. I'm glad to hear your feeling much less overwhelmed now

Sounds like your friends are changing from being 'hot' and 'cold' with you frequently and it is becoming confusing for you and its hurting your feelings. Sometimes face-to-face conversations can be difficult and confronting and texting can be a safe segway into developing a converstaion around the issues your having. What advice would current you give to the you of 3 years ago? I would tell me 20 year old self to try and not put so much pressure on myself to be perfect at EVERYTHING. That my health and mental health comes first and taking time to engage in self care is vital! How can you use this advice right now? My anxiety is very prominent right now, so I would like to take my own advice of self-care and make sure i'm implementing it in my daily routine. Yoga is my main self-care, even if its 5 minutes in the morning. What advice would you give to your future self 3 years from now? Dear future self, feeling your emotions is vital in your recovery.
