Hey @loves netball, I just want to reiterate what some of the other guys have said just now - you are important and we would definitely miss you around here! But your safety and physical wellbeing are super important at the moment. Are you safe right now? If you're not feeling up to calling SCBS or anything right now, would you be feeling up to talking through some distraction techniques until you can get some sleep? Do you think it might be a good idea to remove any harmful objects from your immediate surroundings?

Negative: I was feeling really apprehensive and unmotivated about everything, especially going to work, tonight. Positive: although I finished really late (just now), the night went pretty well and I enjoyed teaching a new supervisor tonight so I'm feeling much better about work. Even though I need to be up early in the morning, I've decided to watch an episode of my show to reward myself because I don't need much sleep anyways. ☺️

Tonight is going okay @DruidChild. I'm still at work but it's not too busy so that's a positive because I have to train someone and I'm feeling overwhelmed as it is. I don't know if I'll have time for any self care tonight. :( We all care about you @loves netball. You're a super important and valuable member here and we'd all miss having you around! So I did the thing I was worried I'd do - sleep all day and neglect my responsibilities. Was meant to help friends move, didn't. Was meant to help Dad move some stuff, didn't. Didn't even make it out of bed an hour before I started work. Now I'm at work and have zero desire to be here and close this place tonight. Then have a massive day tomorrow making up for what I didn't do today except that I start at 12 instead of three so I'll have to be up at the crack of dawn even though I won't finish here until at least 11. Everything is always so overwhelming:( why can't I cope with things like a normal person??

I'm not even sure there's anything to talk about @redhead but I wish I could. I just feel so empty and lonely and like I'm never going to be able to manage "normal" adult things. I have so much to do tomorrow but zero motivation to do any of it. So I'm putting off going home so I don't have to go to sleep and deal with it.

That is amazing @loves netball! I'll have to look in to it when I reenrol in the new year. It would be immensely helpful though I'm not sure there's much they could do being that I'm an external student. I really do hope my uni has something like that! My GP will do anything to help me succeed so that's not an issue. I only made it through one unit the whole of last year :(
