Good news @Bre-RO! I ended up emailing another person to tell them I wouldn't be able to make it due to the appointment and they were very understanding and willing to work with me to find an alternative. :) I hope your pain gets better. Good on you for booking an appointment! I hope it went well. :)

It sounds you have an issue with demodex mites that caused acne in your teenage years and is now causing rosacea. Wipe these little blighhters out and you will cure your rosacea. That's what I did. Got a cream sent over form London of all places (proskin rosacea) and it did what they said it would. I was entirely skeptickal at first because I've heard it all before but to my shock and surprise it cleared away all of my redness and pimples and even softened the leathery patches of skin and gave me a fresh face. Not saying it will work for everyone but its got to be worth a shot!

Your situation is really critical. You should be more concerned about your own health and think about the future. In my opinion, you'd better stop taking testosterone and try to find an alternative to this drug. I take steroids regularly and have been doing great for several months. Have you ever heard of a drug like Winstrol? I regularly take the oral stanozolol cycle and the results are amazing. At the moment I am preparing for the competition and I feel that I will take first place. Wish me good luck!

That sounds like such a hard thing for you to go through @Love_elmo77. I am sorry that you have been feeling hurt and that you have not been able to talk with your old best friend anymore. I can't imagine how upsetting it must have been for your friend to push you and your other friends away after hearing about how she is sick. I hope that you have some other supports around you and that you are feeling okay

Hey @BaileyP, that sounds like a really heavy feeling to bear. How would you feel about making your own thread to chat about what is going on for you? You can do that by clicking 'Start a topic'. No pressure though!

hi @Blurryphaced! thanks for reaching out. It definitely sounds like a tough situation to be in, and I’ve been in the same boat when I lived at home - walls were like paper, couldn’t have a low volume convo on the phone at night without my mum telling me to be quiet! re the noise and sleeping, are you able to invest in some earplugs? you can get them from the chemist pretty cheaply. alternatively, you could get some noise cancelling earphones and play some relaxing music/rain or nature sounds to help you get to sleep at night (I’m not sure if that’s good for your ears though). how old are you? are you able to move out? that might seem like a dramatic step, but your house is supposed to be the place you can come back to and unwind at, and if you feel like your place is the complete opposite it can take a significant toll on your mental health hope everything works out❤️

I've actually had problem skin since I was 13 (I'm 23 now). During these 10 years, I realized that I should always buy only high-quality cosmetics and skincare. Of all the cosmetics I've tried, I like this one the most https://healthyskincosmetics.com/zeta-white-cream-review/. Secondly, I try to exclude milk and sweets from my diet. Third, I don't pay attention to people with perfect skin. It develops a huge complex. These 3 main rules help me keep my skin in good condition.

@A_Friend first year is definitely tough in its own way! In some ways I actually found second and third year easier, because I knew what was expected of me. Plus the content builds on stuff you've learnt in previous years :) Glad you've been enjoying it! @h0peful yeah I'm really not sure! We've been given a list of general areas and it's so broad! Everything from clinical to social to ed/dev psych. I guess we'll see :P

That's really good @Maeve! It looks so much like a mouse! I can't sculpt animals for the life of me...:) I can make mermaid sand sculptures though! They are realistic sized, but I wouldn't be able to post a pic until I go to the beach again. Probably won't happen until next year, lol!

I really like essential oils in oil oil burners, and also scented candles! They can be so soothing and relaxing, especially when I’m anxious. One thing I found out recently though is that some of them can be dangerous for animals :( So it’s important to do research on whether it’s safe for your pet! When I was doing research I also found this good article about essential oil safety: Is it safe to use essential oils? Hope it can help someone!

Hi @Somedude123 and welcome to ReachOut
It takes a lot of courage to voice the thoughts and feelings you have been coping with, and we want you to know we can hear how much pain you are feeling. I hope that reading through this thread, and the support from @comerfordius, that you can feel that you aren't alone- others have also worked through the feelings you are having and have found a way forward with the help of their support networks. You are not alone
Every person's journey of understanding and exploring their sexuality is unique, and it sounds like thoughts around questioning your sexuality or thoughts around sexuality generally have led to a lot of big feelings- at times feelings so big that the distress has brought up thoughts of suicide and self harm.
We really value your honesty and openness in sharing how painful these emotions are for you. Whether you are experiencing HOCD, or exploring your sexuality, these thoughts and feelings would be helpful to discuss with a professional who can support you to work through them, and manage in times when the pain is really high.
You have also mentioned that you have been living with OCD for a number of years. What is your support system like at the moment? Do you have any people you draw on for support? (Professionals, family and friends)
It looks like you are joining our community from outside of Australia, and I want to make sure that you have some options for immediate help if you are ever feeling unsafe, or thinking about ending your life. We have this list of international services that might be able to offer you support during the tough time. I m just about to send you an email, so keep an eye on your inbox

@peacelovepizza Same here! Often I think people have this instinct that learning more about mental ill health or how their brains work will confuse them more, or make them feel worse for some reason? Maybe initially it can be confusing, but for me, learning about neuropsychology has been a huge help. It helps me not to blame myself if I feel bad out of nowhere, as @lokifish spoke about in their original post. I even have a bit of a silly name for my anxiety: Hansel. Whenever my anxiety tells me untrue or boring stories "I'm worthless" "I'm a failure and always will be" "Nobody loves me", I can just tell my anxiety "Cool story, Hansel" and it immediately makes me feel better. Laughing at the untrue stories my brain tells me sometimes helps me diffuse the anxious feelings and 9 times out of 10 I can laugh at myself. Even my parter says "That's just Hansel talking again" which is actually a great help.

HI @Eden1717 , Hearing things would put anyone on edge - I even just wore a headset that played voices on and off for a day once at uni and I was really shaken! I can imagine that if it's a part of your daily life it'd be very understandable if you're having feelings of tiredness and fear. Cudos to you for being so strong and persevering with your studies and new place! <3 Haven't heard from you in a little while, any updates? How have you been going?

Hey @skyfireinferno99, thanks for sharing that with us! It is okay to take time away from the forums or to get wrapped up in life, so never feel bad for not being online. It is all good! That is great that you are in a better place and able to start your career. It must feel like all your hard work has paid off! You should be super proud because landing a graduate position is just amazing! I think starting another thread to talk about this new chapter of your life would be fitting. Please feel welcome to whenever you are ready, we are here to listen.
