@blissfulhope what you've said makes a lot of sense - meeting other queer people sounds like it may help to create a bit of supportive network of people that also likely have experienced some of what you're going through and can lend some of their experience. It's definitely hard and i can't imagine how hard it is for you - but what i can say is it sounds like some of the changes you've come up with are really good steps towards your own happiness.
