Good news @Bre-RO! I ended up emailing another person to tell them I wouldn't be able to make it due to the appointment and they were very understanding and willing to work with me to find an alternative. :) I hope your pain gets better. Good on you for booking an appointment! I hope it went well. :)

What are some foods which help boost your mood? I would say anything sweet, such as cheese cake, lemon tart, choc mousse. Do you have any simple recipes which are great for when time/motivation are running low? No. I like eating without cooking by myself. Usually, I watch others making something on YouTube instead. Are there any new foods you'd like to try? Why not pick up something different next time you're at the supermarket! I may gonna try some seafood I've never tasted before.

Hi Everyone my name is Gemma My favourite type of bird would have to be a rainbow lorikeet(don't mind the spelling) As I find the colours really pretty. I do wish I could fly because I would love to fly away from some of my issue and just let go and feel free. I am a mixer of both night owl and early bird it just depends on how im feeling. I think the chicken crossed the road to get away from where he was living and to be free. I believe that the egg came first because you can't have a chicken without an egg To begin with.

Sorry to hear that you have been feeling lonely lately @hunginc. I think it is really great that you are reaching out for some support by seeing a psychologist! I hope that you find it to be helpful

I've learnt to never be afraid to ask for help and ask if others if they need help. People that you can trust will appreciate when you're being open and honest with them. It is easy to become wrapped up in our own personal issues and busy life schedules that we forget to check on others when they seem fine and we forget to seek help for ourselves. A simple but effective way to provide support to those asking for help is talking about self-care! Suggesting ideas and having a discussion on self-care tips can have a long-term positive impact on people! I think it is also important to remember that if you don't feel like you are equipped enough to provide support to someone who is asking for help, thank them for trusting you and don't shut them off completely. Refer them on to someone who can help because a big obstacle to seeking help is being rejected, ignored and feeling judged. It can be professional help or a friend/ family member with more experience that may be able to help and if the person gives you permission to seek help from another person. It is all about getting the conversation started and making sure no one gets left behind!
