To certianly keep motivated, I ensure that all my classmates that I'm in contact with and I get the questions itself. We often sit in the TAFE library and nut out the assessment together then branch off and find our material and go from there. It helps a lot to know that someone else has the same problem or has a better understand of the topic than most. Once last year we had a 2nd year Diploma lady join our group to help with our unit of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander Support, she opened our eyes big time to what was expected of us and to become better support workers. My support network is my motivation!!

@unrealreality I certainly love my sleep too! And I know for sure if I havnt had enough sleep I'm often too zombified to even think of studying. Staying organised for me is: Writing a memo on my phone a week before due date, Writing the memo in my diary, Having a huge year planned on my wall and writing everything I have to remember from birthdays to holidays (my fav timeof year) and due dates. I also write what unit im doing and what i need to take! Most of all the night before class I check I have everything and usually re-read what I need to and tab the pages. My classmates think I'm a neat/organisation freak. I also have a folio that bring with the last 3-5 units we have done with all the paper work in it. I often get asked in class what we had due or what paper work we needed to read, or asked for copies.

Good for you @florenceforever ! You sound like you have an amazing support network going on for you! - What things stress you out the most at school, TAFE or Uni? Getting behind on my assessments and struggling to understand what I'm meant to do. - What can you do to decrease your stress?
I started up a Facebook group for the students in my class to communicate our concerns, q's, etc and so far it's helped heaps to know others are in the same boat as me! - Who can you talk to if things become too stressful? Good ol Mum! Shes always there to talk to!

Got to love "THE PROCRASTINATOR!!", I avoided the GAMSAT by studying a Cert in Aged Care and HACC to see if I liked the idea of being a Nurse eventually. It's certainly a tough crowd to be in!!

You all sounds like your super busy at the moment making plans for your year of studying!! From Bachelor of Arts, Sociology and Psychology, Primary education to Counseling! Looks like you all have a lot on your hands at the moment and in the futute so that leads us to our next question.... School can be tough/stressful sometimes or sometimes our personal lives can impact our studying. - What things stress you out the most at school, TAFE or Uni? - What can you do to decrease your stress? - Who can you talk to if things become too stressful?

Welcome @Learn-to-fly ! I cant relate to the cost of books because I'm a tafe and get loads of paper instead! But i can imagine the costs Sounds like a lot of you are into Psych/Sociology for your subjects!!! But I'm sure most of you dread the M word... Math!!!! Which leads us to our next question, knowing we have a variety of people on here that attend school, Uni, TAFE.
We'd like to know what year you'll be going into and what you'll be studying????

Welcome @unrealreality , Thanks for joining us :) Calenders are always useful! I tend to fill in the first month page to page with everything and by the next months I've forgotten to keep penciling things in! Then suddenly remember that I have a diary and do it all over again, vicious cycle.
