Everyday will always be a struggle no matter what. no matter if it is big or small. but you decide what to make of the struggle. I am always struggling. my struggle right now is not being good enough and being alone. Honestly i feel like i have no friends to turn to or talk to.

Hey @NamelessGhoul90, sometimes we get frustrated and angry when things don't go the way we thought they would. I have found some information about anger and frustration which you can find here. You can also find information about the ABCD method of dealing with frustration which you can find here.

@Jaz First of all appalsing you for having the courage to come and talk about it. It is a big acheivement just recognising that something isn't right. I have stuggled with some anxiety around social situations and at time it can be really scary over time though I have learned to manage and over come it. Here are my top three things you could try to help to overcome some of this fear: 1. Go out and expose yourself to social situtions bare and mind you can just take it slowly. Build up with the number of people when you start to feel comfortable. So for example start with 1 or 2 people and meet at a park then build up the number of people overtime. 2. This may sound really silly but what I did to overcome some of my anxiety around social situation is go to my local shops and go in and out of shops, most of the time smaller shops in centres will have staff that will great you and you will naturally learn to reply and get better at it over time. Always remember when you get to feel to overwhelmed take a break and try again the next day. These two options above are something called exposure which you could look up and find out more info about if you like and you think that they might work! :) My 3rd thing to help calm you down when this fear arrises and will also be helpful in the suggestions I have above is some mindfullness, mindful breathing it is the one I like the best but there is heaps others that could help you get a handle on your fear. If you want to know more reply and I will give you a few links to the ones I use. How do you feel about these? Do you think they would help? Jess

Getting on board with what @safari93 said about long, curly, frizzy hair. Mine gets super big and untamable and while I used to hate it, I've really learned to embrace it over the last few years :)

I really understand you and I have been to a similar situation. It is so boring to stay at home all the time and I miss my friends. Wanted to hang out with them because they know what I really feel. Just so happened that one day we had this great idea as a family to buy something - one huge trampoline. I thought it was boring at first but then I tried it. - so much fun. Now, I am doing it solitary. I also tried rebounding now just to shed off those pounds and minimize my stress with school work.

Even though I prefer Iron Man as a hero; I think if he and Batman got into a fight, Batman would win. Think about it: Batman usually goes prepared for a fight, because usually he goes and finds out what he's up against. Iron Man doesn't find out until the last minute. Although, I think it'd take a lot of work to make a showdown between the two happen, seeing as how they were both created by different companies and also their movies are currently being produced by different companies as well. The thing is though, among comic book fans, Iron Man has a reputation as being a bit of a boring hero. I don't really know why this is though, because in the comic books he goes through a lot of different social issues like alcoholism, homelessness, etc. over the course of the many, many years he's been around. However, there's no denying that Robert Downey Jr. does produce a lot of personality for the character on-screen.

I had a boat party once, and it was probably the best night of my life! I had my cousin DJ for me and there were pretty lights and balloons! Everyone had an awesome time! And I will never be able to have another party again because nothing will live up to the boat party standard! However, it would have been super cool if I got everyone to dress up as pirates.
Hey Grace
That is awesome!
Having family members with cool talents comes as a plus, especially on the financial side of things. Did you know there is an International Talk Like a Pirate day on the 19th of Sept? Here is a link to that on Wikipedia http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/International_Talk_Like_a_Pirate_Day

Yellow, because it's the colour of sunshine and it makes me think of 'Yellow Submarine' by the Beatles, which is a very cheery and happy song. Sunflowers make me happy and they are yellow. Bumble bees, a smiley face emoticon, piccachu, the song 'Yellow' by Cold Play. There are so many yellow things that create joy and happiness.

really good points brownpaperbag ! really enjoyed reading your post. depression to me has always been just depression. nothing more. nothing less. i've heard the term clinical depression as well but i'll be honest - if the term ends in depression, it sounds like depression so it is depression to me. and that's just my ignorance for not educating myself about the differences. are you able to just post the differences as a separate post ? i try not to say "i'm so depressed" because i know some people are offended by that. the same way saying "that's go gay" can be offensive. just an idea and i hope no one gets too offended that i've brought it up first of all is depression is on a spectrum ? if so ,like sexuality, then if someone is feeling depressed (sad for no reason) even for a tiny moment, isn't that legit of them and okay to say i'm so depressed without being offensive ? in some cases people so i'm depressed when they just mean i'm sad. i think that's wrong and they should probably be more articulate and make better use of words.
