One Thing You Did in 2024!

Good morning everyone, we are almost at New Year’s, and it’s got me reminiscing because I am such a sentimental person. 🥹

I thought it’d be nice and reflective to talk about one thing you did this year, whether it be a small goal you set yourself out to do, if you travelled anywhere, a new hobby you picked up, read a new book, volunteereed, learned a new language, absolutely anything and everything! 🥰

One thing I did was travel to Japan with my family!

You should all be so proud of yourselves for getting through this year. 💓

Hi @happymunchkin

Something I was proud of last year, was pushing myself out of my comfort zone. I have made lots of new friends and lived the life I wanted to for ages but also still making sure I took care of myself and recognise when it was time to put myself first.

Hello@happymunchkin,

What a wonderful post, as with@Appel_banappel and@LilacLeopard14 , I would agree that it is insane to think that you have done so much things in an entire year even when it doesn't seem at such at first glance.

Ironically like@LilacLeopard14 ,something that I did that I felt really proud about was also completing my Honours Thesis this year. As with@LilacLeopard14 ,I was honestly scared that I might not make it but was delighted that it all end up well in the end. It was a tough but rather rewarding year!

In any case, I hope everyone keep on posting their achievements whether big or small, it is such a treat to read and I wish everyone Happy New Year Eve as well!

Hey @happymunchkin

I really love this post! ☺️

Something I did in 2024 was move interstate to a new city with my partner! This was a very scary and exciting thing I achieved. When you've lived in a rural town with limited things to do, it's so refreshing living in the suburbs of a city, so much to see and do, lots of opportunities and friends to make ☺️

Aaa going to Japan would be so awesome @happymunchkin !! I am so happy you experienced that this year ☺️

I agree with everyone, reflecting back on the year makes you realise how much we have achieved, big or small!

I’d say the biggest thing I accomplished this year would be completing my honours year of university and writing a thesis!! This time last year I was SO anxious and unsure if I could even do it so I am glad I was not only able to complete it, but also finish it to a great standard. 🥹

I am also proud of everyone for making it to the end of 2024. Keep posting your highlights of the year in the replies I love reading them all 🥰

Oo good one @happymunchkin

2024 was a really big year for me; it's crazy how much you realise you've done once you actually start reflecting on it. I'd say the biggest thing was that I did my first year of uni, put a lot of effort into developing good study habits and surprised myself at what I could accomplish with little stress when I applied those study skills. I'm really proud of myself for that and I hope everyone else has something they're really proud of because y'all deserve it!

Hi @happymunchkin

I took a day trip by myself to a small seaside town about 50 minutes from where I live. I was so proud of myself because I planned all of it on my own and drove there all by myself in order to spend some time with myself. Normally if I want to go on a small trip, I will take my partner with me because I get nervous about driving myself sometimes (so I make him do it lol). However, I managed to do it all on my own and was so pleased. It was very pretty and I had a lot of fun  😊
