Hey @Mint_Crocodile

Thank you for sharing this with us and for reaching out for some support. It sounds like you have had a lot going on recently and I’m sorry to hear that you are feeling this way.

Navigating through being a young adult isn’t always easy and being unsure about what you want to do is very understandable and normal. Remember that it’s okay to be feeling this way and to be unsure. If you wanted to read some stories about other young people navigating through this and their journeys we have a collection here.

I know that it can be stressful and even overwhelming at times while looking far into the future. Do you think it could be helpful to instead think about and focus on what you want to do now and in the near future and maybe create some goals?

I know that you also mentioned that you’ve been applying for jobs that you weren’t interested in and haven’t had any luck. Is there any job that you think you would be interested in or want to try? If you’re unsure that’s okay, we have an article about choosing a career path and one on getting a job. They both have some really great tips and things to consider that might be helpful to look through.

I’m sorry that you’ve been feeling lonely and have found it hard to create new friendships. It is good to hear that you have tried to connect with your partners friends, has your partner been supportive and understanding?

Sometimes friendships come when we least expect them, are there any social groups or things you could join around you where you could meet people with similar interests? I wanted to let you know that we have a collection of articles, stories, tips and videos around friendships that I thought would be helpful to have a look through, it also includes some articles on loneliness and things to try.

I was wondering whether you have been able to speak to anyone about this and how you have been feeling or if you have any support from either a family member, GP or a mental health professional?

Thank you again for sharing this with us, remember that you aren’t alone and we are all here for you!
